GUANGZHOU - CHINA

Guangzhou or Canton, the capital of Guangdong Province, is the third biggest city in China after Beijing and Shanghai with a population of more than 12 million.
In terms of climate, the best time to visit Guangzhou is between October and November. Alternatively, April and May are also good months. Guangzhou has a sub-tropical climate with humidity levels at their highest in the summer. Temperature can reach almost 40 degrees Celsius. so for tourist who want to visit Guangzhou, they must carefully plan their travel and time so there no problem occur during their holiday or visit.



Despite its vibrant sight-seeing resources, travelers usually come to Guangzhou to shop and eat. Guangzhou accommodates countless huge markets specializing in almost any made-in-china products, including Chinese tea, herbs, garments, watches, electronics and toys. the traveller will be appalled to see the real prices of those China-made products and the profit your local shops earn by selling them.



Guangzhou is divided into ten districts. Tianhe, which was a farming village decades ago, has been constructed into a new business center with some biggest shopping malls and highest skyscrapers in the city. Among them, Yuexiu and Liwan, the cradle for the Cantonese culture, has been the city center since the imperial era.

Lying next to Hong Kong and Macau, Guangzhou is aware of its commercial development. The biannual Canton Fair adds to the commercial atmosphere. To tourists, the city is really a 'Shoppers' Paradise'.
you can walk around the Shangxia Jiu Lu, where it is the most influential traditional commercial street in Guangzhou, and Teem Plaza area (boutiques, shops selling fantastic goods and restaurants come together).



the district around Guangzhou is one of the busies places in this city, where there a lot of people gather here either to shopping, walk around, doing business and many more.
If the tourist are interested in Japanese and Korean fashion, they can go to Zhuangyuan Fang (Number One Scholar Lane) on Renmin Nan Lu. Although it is a small lane less than 200 meters (219 yards) long, the Zhuangyuan Fang attracts numerous visitors by its most fashionable clothes, ornaments, and small articles that are popular with young people.
other than that, the tourist also can visit Hualin Jadeware Street & Wende Calligraphy and Painting Street, Yide Lu Seafood Market, The Clothes Wholesale Market, and Highsun Electrical Appliance Market.


THERE also other places in Guangzhou for visitor to came and enjoy themselves such as, theme parks, Yuexiu Park, and mountains.


 

the tourist can get in to the Guangzhou by plane and arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. and after that you can get around the places by bus or airport express buses, texi, train and other transport that available.
Mandarin is the universal speech but Cantonese is prevalent. To save yourself the hassle and agony when asking for directions, have names of your destinations clearly written down in Chinese by the hotel staff before venturing out and carry your hotel's business card with you. 






the tourist also can do the activities at night such as Pearl River Night Cruise, Bicycle tours, and Daytime River "Cruise". other than that,  if the tourist come  to Guangzhou  at the right moment, they can exprience the festivals that held at that time such as chinese New Year/Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-autumn Festival, and others.
